Ashley Dorway

Ashley was born in Queens, New York, but grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. She attended Belmont University, where she studied sociology and legal studies. Prior to joining the Tennessee Justice Center, Ashley served as a research assistant at the Equal Rights Center. She also volunteered with a variety of non-profits in Nashville, including the Aloe Family, Equity Alliance, and the Nueva Vida food project.


A relentless advocate for human rights and socioeconomic equality, Ashley envisions a future where she can effect tangible change on a broader scale. Her aspirations include pursuing graduate studies, aiming for a master's degree in public policy or human rights and international relations.
