WE WORK TO ENSURE ALL TENNESSEANS HAVE ACCESS TO BASIC HEALTHCARE AND NUTRITION

WE TURN LIVED EXPERIENCES INTO SYSTEM CHANGE

We provide free direct services to help Tennesseans access and navigate healthcare and nutrition programs. We work with families to get and keep the essential benefits support they need.

From that work, and in partnership with advocates, we identify barriers and use those insights to drive policy changes that address systemic inequities in access, including those related to race, immigration status, and rural location.

When we see a pattern of barriers or unlawful practices, we pursue impact litigation to challenge those systems and secure lasting improvements in access to healthcare and nutrition programs statewide.

WE SUPPORT AND STRENGTHEN ADVOCACY ACROSS TENNESSEE

We provide education, training, and research data to help communities and advocates navigate healthcare and nutrition programs while informing efforts to improve and protect them
