DIGITAL MEDIA INTERN

 

Part-Time Position | Based in Nashville, TN | Unpaid internship

 We are looking to hire a Digital Media Intern to help grow and create engaging content for our social channels. If you’re compassionate, creative, and have an eye for detail, then this could be the job for you.

​

Typical Responsibilities include:

​

  • Designing creative print and digital materials such as newsletters, press releases, and social media for Black Health Matters TN and TJC campaigns 

  • Assisting in the planning of engaging social media campaigns that align with our mission 

  • Crafting compelling captions for social channels 

  • Interacting across all social channels to support, engage, and lift-up related missions 

  • Researching other influential social media accounts and influencers for opportunities to collaborate 

  • Other duties as assigned 

  • 12-15 hours a week (negotiable)

 

This job might be for you if:

​

  • You are meticulous and pay close attention to detail, with the ability to self-monitor for mistakes, troubleshoot, and closely follow a process 

  • You’re passionate about inclusive and equitable impact 

  • You work well in a collaborative and inclusive environment 

  • You’re proficient in Canva 

  • You have experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn 

  • You have strong copywriting and editing skills
