Harlan Dodson III
Harlan grew up in Nashville and went off to college at Duke University. He then returned home and attended Vanderbilt Law School. He has been practicing law since 1969 and teaching estate planning since 1975 at the Nashville School of Law. In 2007, he received the Distinguished Faculty Award. He is a regular author and speaker on business, limited liability companies, and estate planning services. He has also written books on estate planning. He is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, and the Tennessee Association for Justice. In 2012, Dodson received the John C. Tune Public Service Award for his contributions to the community from the Nashville Bar Association. Dodson is married to his law partner, Margaret Behm. They have two children.
