Connecting the WIC Vendor to the Shopping Experience

137,334 people participate in the TN WIC program as of March 2024, spending WIC dollars in Tennessee grocery stores. WIC has made advancements to improve the shopping experience yet shopping challenges still remain for both the grocer and the WIC recipient. 

Join us as we share initial findings from TJC's research of the WIC grocery store experience and explore both the perspective of the WIC vendor and the WIC shopper. We will share best practices, highlight existing resources and toolkits that aim to enhance the WIC shopper's experience and increase benefit spending in grocery stores.
