DEVELOPMENT INTERN

 

Part-Time Position | Based in Nashville, TN | Unpaid internship

For over 28 years, we at the Tennessee Justice Center (TJC) have been standing with Tennessee families and helping them access basic necessities of life. We believe that all our neighbors have value and dignity, that all deserve the opportunity to thrive, and that our laws and public policy should reflect these shared values. Every day our courageous team works hard on behalf of and in partnership with Tennessee individuals, families, and communities.

We are currently seeking interns to assist our with TJC’s annual fundraising projects. Our development team is responsible for raising 40% of our fiscal budget through gifts from individual donors.

 

Responsibilities include: 

• Donor stewardship and surveying 

• Performing prospect research 

• Brainstorming creative ways to engage new supporters 

• Chipping in on data cleanup 

• Event coordination 

• Creating fundraising materials 

 

This is an ideal opportunity for an undergraduate student or recent graduate who is interested in pursuing a career in non-profit management, marketing, or organizational development.
