Martha Henley

Martha Henley is Associate Managing Counsel for HCA Healthcare, where she supports the company’s Operations & Service Lines Group and Marketing & Corporate Affairs teams. In this role, she advises internal clients on a broad range of healthcare regulatory, operational, and compliance matters.
Prior to joining HCA Healthcare, Martha served as Senior Operations Counsel for Community Health Systems. She began her legal career in private practice with King & Spalding in Atlanta, where her practice focused on healthcare government investigations and complex litigation.
Martha previously served on the board of New American Pathways, a refugee resettlement agency in Atlanta. She is an active volunteer with the American Heart Association, having most recently served on the Executive Leadership Team for the 2026 Heart Gala, and is a passionate advocate for hands-only CPR training. Martha graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School and holds a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma. She lives in Brentwood with her husband, Simon, and their two sons, Sam and Benji, and enjoys spending time with her family and singing with the Williamson Choral Society.
