Jace Wilder

Health Policy and Advocacy Associate

Jace Wilder (he/they) is originally from Pegram, TN, but has been in Nashville since they were 16. He attended Belmont University, studying political science and public health with a focus on understanding the impact of politics on health inequities. Jace continued his education at Vanderbilt University, receiving his Master of Public Health in health policy studying LGBTQ+ health and incarceration policy.


Before joining the team at TJC, they were the Education Manager for Tennessee Equality Project, focusing on educating about transgender health and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights. Jace has also spent multiple years working with lawmakers to ensure health, education, and labor equity. He is a volunteer with NAMI Davidson County, working to expand access to mental health services and representation for those with disabilities. 


Outside of work, Jace enjoys collecting comic books, doing arts and crafts, spending time with friends, and advocating for communities. 


Jace is ecstatic to work with TJC to continue the imperative work in health equity and access for Tennesseans!
