Vic Alexander
The Tennessee Justice Center has been fortunate to benefit from the generosity of a Nashville business leader whose name has been synonymous with public service and community leadership for decades. Vic Alexander started his career with KraftCPAs in 1982 and was the accounting firm’s chief manager from 1993 until his retirement in 2024. With an accounting practice specializing in litigation support and business valuation services, Vic’s expertise and wise counsel were valued by a wide array of businesses and nonprofit agencies. In 2024, Nashville Business Journal recognized Vic’s exceptional personal qualities and professional achievements by giving him a Lifetime Achievement Award as Most Admired CEO.
Vic served on TJC’s Board from 2005 to 2016, holding the roles of Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for all but one of those years. During his stewardship, TJC built its reserves and established a sound approach to the use of the reserves and the income it produces. Committed to TJC’s mission, Vic helped stabilize reserves at a level required for prudent management, then maximized the use of income to fund client services. One of TJC’s earliest and most faithful donors, Vic has led by generous example, encouraging KraftCPAs to sponsor all TJC’s events and continue his legacy of pro bono service. TJC is indebted to Vic for strengthening the financial foundation of our work for justice, and it is an honor to induct him into our Hall of Fame.
