About the event
Insured children are far more likely to attend well-child visits and other proactive medical attention than uninsured or underinsured kids. But due to annual renewal requirements, children enrolled in TennCare often experience gaps in coverage.
In September 2024 two U.S. Representatives introduced the Keep Kids Covered Act, a law that if adopted would make annual Medicaid (TennCare) renewals irrelevant to children between the ages of 0 to 6. The Tennessee Justice Center is interested in advancing such a policy in our state.
Learn more about this opportunity for advocacy - providing a voice for Tennessee's children - by attending this discussion, led by TJC's Executive Director Michele Johnson.
