Lillian Marcum

Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, Lillian obtained her Bachelor’s at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in Journalism and Political Science. She has a variety of experience in the non-profit space, campaign work, public affairs, and journalism, most notably with Mercury LLC in D.C. and with the City of Knoxville as a fellow through the Howard Baker School for Public Policy, where she covered the rising cost of housing.Â
Lillian originally moved to Nashville to work for the State of Tennessee's Department of Labor as a Grants Analyst, where she was a part of Title I. Most recently, she assisted with the Tennessee Youth Employment Program (TYEP) to promote youth in getting work experience and financial security.Â
In her free time, Lillian enjoys yoga, backpacking, and reading.Â
