Gov. Bill Lee delivers on long-desired Trump plan to block grant Medicaid funding, attempting to put Tennessee in a position to lead healthcare innovation nationwide.

TJC Exec. Director Michele Johnson said that the block grant would be “devastating for our health infrastructure, for the Tennessee economy, and for our communities.” She also said that a lawsuit would follow if this proposal moves forward and is approved illegally.
