Dorcas Gitimu

Dorcas was born in Kisumu, Kenya, and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, where she stayed in the city for college and graduated from Youngstown State University with a B.A. in Political Science and Foreign Affairs in 2022. She has always been deeply passionate and interested in public policy, non-profit, and legal work that is aimed at helping vulnerable people and populations. She’s excited to focus on helping  Tennesseans access healthcare.

By working as a Client Advocate, Dorcas hopes to affirm her commitment to social and healthcare justice while helping as many vulnerable people as possible throughout the state of Tennessee.
