TJC Trainings

TJC offers trainings and CLEs (Continuing Legal Education) throughout the year on TennCare and the Affordable Care Act. Our trainings range from 1 hour to 2 days, and can cover TennCare rules, how the Affordable Care Act has affected Tennessee, and how lawyers can take pro bono cases. Our trainings are free for participants, and we encourage hospital workers, certified application counselors, navigators, social workers, lawyers, and anyone who works with folks on TennCare to attend. To request a training in your area, email Keila at kfranks@tnjustice.org.

TJC training is so helpful to do my job, refresh my information, increase my knowledge, keeps me updated, answer my questions, connect me with the right resources, also there wonderful staff always there if I needed help for a client. Thank you so much folks.

The TJC toolkit is invaluable in helping individuals with ACA and Medicaid and other issues. It is my main go-to helper.

I don’t know where I would be without the information you all provide. Thank you!!

TJC is one of the best resources available that we use daily.

TJC’s training has been an invaluable source of information and education since I began working as a healthcare navigator in 2013.  The trainings and trouble shooting support that they provide for social workers across the state of Tennessee makes it possible for us to connect our clients to TennCare using the most expedient avenues available to Tennesseans.

TJC always does a great job of helping us understand the more complex categories of TennCare eligibility, and connecting us to other experts to assist if they’re not able to themselves. The relationship with TJC that our organization has had has been invaluable.
