Nancy Anness
Nancy Anness is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience caring for patients. For 20 years, she has held clinical and administrative leadership roles at Saint Thomas Health, where she currently serves as Vice President of Advocacy, Access, and Community Outreach. She has organized medical missions serving the poor throughout North, Central and South America, including downtown Nashville. She was formerly an Associate Professor of Nursing at Vanderbilt, where she provided clinical leadership at Vine Hill Community Clinic. The embodiment of the compassionate and thoughtful nurse leader, Nancy is also a devoted mother. Whether providing direct patient care or advocating for more humane and inclusive health policies, Nancy is always striving to enable other mothers to provide for their children the care that she wants for her beloved son, Grayson.
