On Tuesday, August 10, the federal government reopened the federal comment period for Tennessee’s recently approved Medicaid waiver program, TennCare III (also known as the block grant). The comments will inform federal decisions that will decide the shape of TennCare for the next ten years. The comment period is an opportunity for key stakeholders such as healthcare providers, consumer advocates, social service providers and other concerned Tennesseans, to make their voices heard regarding the harmful changes to TennCare. Join TJC for an overview of concerns about TennCare III and how to craft a quality comment. Bring your questions! We want to equip commenters with as much information as possible. The comment period closes September 9.
