Gov. Bill Lee bragged about Tennessee’s financial strength, but admitted to poor health statewide at a Nashville Rotary Club meeting this week.

In response to TJC Exec. Director Michele Johnson’s question about worsening maternal and infant mortality rates in Tennessee, Gov. Bill Lee said he wants to improve health in order to lessen people’s dependence on the state’s healthcare system.
