Suzanne Lemaire Lozier Summer Intern
After interning with TJC last summer in the hectic midst of the Grier trial, Suzanne still wasn’t convinced that long hours in front of a copy machine weren’t for her. She has returned to TJC for her second summer and is reveling in the legal drama and enjoying some quality baby time. Suzanne is a Nashville native and graduated from Hume-Fogg Academic Magnet School in 2004. In the fall she will begin her junior year at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland where she is majoring in Sociology with a concentration in Social Justice. The Tennessee Justice Center has been a “perfect fit” for Suzanne, who plans to attend social work school and join the non-profit sector herself one day. Her hope is to end up a penniless but jovial old lady. Suzanne has a growing interest in public health, and dreams about single payer universal health insurance at night. In these dreams there are no boxes full of documents. |
