Stan Buncher Princeton Community Service Intern
Stan comes to the Tennessee Justice Center from Princeton University, where he will enter his junior year in the fall. A history major, Stan is at home poring over documents, making him an instant hit at TJC. Stan grew up with 4 sisters and 1 brother in Lexington, Kentucky, where he graduated from Lexington Catholic High School in 2004. He credits his parents with instilling in him a “sense of duty to help the marginalized in our society.” Stan chose to intern at the Tennessee Justice Center because it offered a chance to contribute to and learn from an organization that “truly helps the least well-off members of our society.” Stan is grateful to both the Tennessee Justice Center for providing this opportunity and to the Princeton Class of 1969 for making it possible. Although Stan has no definite post-graduation plans, he is frequently reminded by the TJC staff that almost every past employee has eventually pursued a law degree… making him wonder why he ever put himself in this situation. |
