What can I do?

You can share your story of how the TennCare cuts have hurt you.

You can talk to your state legislators.

You can write a letter to the editor about TennCare.

You can sign up to find out about TennCare events and other ways to get involved.

You can learn more. Click here for links and resources.

You can help the Campaign for Children's Health Care.
More than 9 million children lack health insurance in the United States, the wealthiest nation in the world, and millions more are underinsured. Visit the Campaign for Children's Health Care web site and learn about uninsured children and ways to help.

You can read "TennCare Cuts -- A Moral Crisis" and ask your church, mosque or synagogue to get involved.
Take "TennCare Cuts – A Moral Crisis" to your pastor and ask him or her to preach on TennCare and what your faith tradition teaches about denying people essential health care. Educate and organize your faith community to be concerned and witness for TennCare reform that is just, compassionate, and fair.

You can contact the Tennessee Justice Center.
We will be happy to give you more information. We can also tell you about volunteer opportunities, such as speaking to congregations or other groups about TJC's work, and sign you up to receive e-mail updates about important developments affecting justice in Tennessee.
